Q - I'm a Supplier, how do I register for MATCH?
A – To register, please click here or contact your sales manager. 50% deposit is due upon registration. The remaining balance is due a month prior to the event.
Q - I'm a Buyer, how do I register for MATCH?
A – To register, please click here. We will review your application and determine if you are qualified to participate. You will find out the status of your registration about 6 weeks prior to the event. All arrangements will be made after you have been approved.
Q - How is MATCH different from a standard trade show?
A – MATCH is based on focused one-to-one meetings with the most important buyers in the
industry. There are no booths to construct and the buyers are all qualified. You will build
mutually beneficial relationships and get close with the participating buyers over a 3 day
period in a fun and exciting atmosphere. You can show your goods in your suite and if
necessary and agents are available to represent your lines and follow-up with buyers.
Q - What can I expect to get out of MATCH?
A - Quite simply, the best relationships with the high end buyers in the industry. You will
increase your knowledge about doing business in the Contract Hospitality market. If
necessary, agents are available to represent your lines and follow-up with buyers. MATCH is a
complete package for doing business in the U.S. market – the largest and most lucrative in
the world. You can also expect to work hard while having fun.
Q - How many buyers and suppliers will be present at the event?
A - We are limiting this opportunity to 100 buyers and 100 suppliers. Furthermore, these 100 suppliers
will be broken down into various categories to limit competition. To increase your chances of
being accepted we suggest your register as soon as possible.
Q - What type of buyers will be at the show and where are they coming from?
A - MATCH is inviting the top buyers in the industry. These buyers are the heads of purchasing and design from the leading hotel chains, design firms and purchasing firms from across the country.
Q - How many one-to-one meetings can I expect to have with the buyers?
A – You will have AT LEAST 20 meetings with buyers. As a supplier, you are guaranteed to have a full schedule. You may even have two buyers scheduled for a meetings slot.
Q - What should I bring with me to MATCH?
A - Sample books, promotional materials, business cards and minimal product (just enough to get the
message across).
Q - What is the dress code?
A – Dress is business casual.
Q - Can I bring a guest to MATCH, such as my wife or a friend?
A – Absolutely. There is a $500 guest fee and you will be liable for any additional costs. As a guest, they are not permitted to participate in the meetings, but can attend meals and other functions.
Q - Is there a deadline for registering?
A – One month prior to the event. However, since we are limiting the number of suppliers in each product
category, it is in your best interest to register as soon as possible.
